Jail phone recordings reveal Hannah Tubbs, a 26-year-old transwoman – also known as a biological male – convicted in Los Angeles County of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in a bathroom, gloating over the pathetically lenient sentence he received for his heinous crime.

Tubbs pled guilty last month to having molesting the little girl in 2014 in the bathroom of a Denny’s diner, when Tubbs was two weeks shy of his 18th birthday and still identified as a man named James. According to reports, Tubbs grabbed the little girl by the throat and shoved her into a bathroom stall before putting his hands down her pants and molesting her, finally stopping after someone else walked in to the bathroom.

After being arrested eight years after the crime took place, Tubbs then began "identifying" as a woman and changed his name to Hannah.

In the recording as reported by Fox News, Tubbs, speaking to his father on the phone at the time, can be heard laughingly predicting that he’d get a slap on the wrist for the assault thanks to the city's lax policies on criminals, guessing – and rightly so – that he wouldn’t even have to register as a sex offender.

"I’m gonna plead out to it, plead guilty," Tubbs says in one recording. "They’re gonna stick me on probation, and it’s gonna be dropped, it’s gonna be done, I won’t have to register, won’t have to do nothing."

"You won’t have to register?" his father can be heard asking.

"I won’t have to do none of that," Tubbs answered.

"So what are they going to do to you then?" his father asked.

"Nothing," Tubbs responded, laughing.

Tubbs was sentenced to two years at a juvenile detention facility thanks to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón, a left-wing prosecutor who declines to charge underage offenders as adults as a rule - despite the fact that Tubbs was only two weeks shy of legal adulthood when the incident took place, despite the fact that he’s now 26 years old, and despite the fact that he already has a separate charge for sexual abuse of a child on his record.

All in all, Tubbs may end up serving about six months in lock-up and will not have to register as a sex offender for his crimes.

Gascón now says that if he’d known the “disregard” Tubbs had for her victim, he “would have handled this case differently.”

“While for most people several years of jail time is adequate, it may not be for Ms. Tubbs,” Gascón said in the statement. “If we knew about her disregard for the harm she caused we would have handled this case differently. The complex issues and facts of her particular case were unusual, and I should have treated them that way. This change in policy will allow us the space to do that moving forward.”

Because apparently, the fact that Tubbs had violently molested a little girl wasn’t enough.
