We’ve recently learned former Subway spokesman and child predator Jared Fogle reportedly suffered a beating at the hands of a 60-year-old fellow inmate at Englewood prison in Colorado.
Not only did the guy who was famous for losing 200 pounds by eating Subway gain 30 pounds within the first three months of his prison sentence, now inmates are finding out who Fogle is and what he’s done -- and it’s not going well for him.
Fellow convict Steven Nigg, who was found guilty of a weapons charge, started a fight with Fogle in the yard, shoving him to the ground and “then [unloading] a barrage of punches to his face.”
The 38-year-old was left with a swollen face, bloody nose, and lacerations all over his neck. Nigg only suffered a cut to his hand from the pain he handed the child predator.
Niggs' family isn't surprised by the incident. Apparently, Niggs had been angered by the amount of child sex predators housed in his prison and Fogle just happened to be “the last straw.”
“Jared is regularly taunted by those who have it out for him,” an insider told In Touch. “One of the men called Jared a ‘dirty child rapist’ and told him to ‘get the f—k out’ and not come back.”
In that instance, when Fogle tried to defend himself the “inmate slapped him across the cheeks several times and made his face red.” The sex offender then turned tail and ran out of the hostile room.
