GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy doubled down on his earlier statement that he believes climate change is a “hoax.”
When a question on climate change came up during Wednesday’s Republican Debate on Fox News, Ramaswamy took a different approach than the others on the big stage.
“I'm the only person on the stage who isn't bought and paid for. So I can say this the climate change agenda is a hoax. Ridiculous,” Ramaswamy said. “The climate change agenda is a hoax and we have to declare independence from. And the reality is the anti-carbon agenda is the wet blanket on our economy. And so the reality is more people are dying of bad climate change policies than they are of actual climate change.”
Ramawamy previously made a similar statement at an Iowa State Fair appearance.
Ramaswamy said that environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) business policies are among the “grave threats to liberty,” and said “the climate change agenda” is a “hoax.”
