Racist Murderer Dylann Roof Asking Court to Fire Jewish, Indian Lawyers

This is what true hate looks like.

Dylann Roof, the white supremacist who murdered nine Bible study participants in a Charleston church in South Carolina June 2015, has told the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Va., that he wants to fire his attorneys because they can’t understand his stances for the appeal.

Roof wrote a handwritten three-page letter to the court from his cell at a federal prison in Terre Haute, Ind., explaining that his current attorneys, Alexandra Yates and Sapna Mirchandani, are “Jewish and Indian respectively,” and couldn’t possibly “have the same interests relating to my case.”

Roof also wrote about an attorney that formerly represented him:

It is also a barrier to effective communication. The lawyer appointed to represent me at my Federal trial was David Isaac Bruck, who is also Jewish. His ethnicity was a constant source of conflict even with my constant efforts to look past it.

If Roof wants any credible lawyer to defend him, he’s going to have to suck it up and do with what’s given to him. While Roof is afforded a fair appeal, it’s kind of difficult for anyone to commiserate with you having not one ounce of remorse in your cold heart.

“I have not shed a tear for the innocent people I killed,” Roof wrote in a jailhouse journal that prosecutors brought forth to the court.

Not only does Roof not feel remorse, but he apparently attempted to justify his actions to FBI agents.

“I had to do it because somebody had to do something,” Roof confessed to the agents. “Black people every day on the street, and they are raping white women.”

Roof is obviously a very sick person, and the courts typically show leniency toward those with mental limitations, but there is no excuse for a human being like this to exist any longer.

Roof is currently serving nine consecutive life sentences and sitting on death row.
