Students at New York University moved into the dorms last week and are being quarantined for 14 days. August 24 marks day six of the quarantine, and the quarantined students have already taken over TikTok showing off their “gourmet” meals – that is, if they even received them.

NYU released a statement stating that they are aware of the concerns their students have been raising on TikTok, as well as how they are responding to the complaints. Some of these include starting meal preparation earlier, adding staff to ensure more prompt delivery, and  “we have authorized staff in the residence halls to order meals through regular delivery services or to provide money to students to order delivery themselves if the food that shows up isn't good enough.”

NYU administration is not the only ones to have noticed the issue.

Chipotle has also been helping out, sending students discount codes so they can order food for a cheaper price.

Despite the not-so-great circumstances, the students at NYU seem to be making the most out of their situation and making light of it.
