FBI Investigating Puerto Rican Mayor For Allegedly Keeping 'Critical Supplies' From Hurricane Survivors

Ideology over people while publicly presenting a narrative of people over ideology is a tactic often used by the Left. Now, one of their “darlings” is in trouble for being too outward with protecting her ideology before the people they were elected to protect and aid.

San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz and her political hack cronies are reportedly the subject of a new FBI probe about her involvement in suppressing “critical supplies” to the people of San Juan after hurricanes Irma and Maria ravaged the area in September 2017.

According to Fox News:

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz and her administration are under fire for allegedly obstructing critical supplies from reaching victims of the category-4 hurricane that leveled much of the tiny U.S. territory nearly nine months ago.

The FBI reportedly launched the investigation following a February lawsuit filed by Yadira Molina, the former director of procurement. Molina claims she was retaliated against for reporting “alleged irregular acts” to the local comptroller.

The people of San Juan have been critical of Cruz’s public attention campaign, with one small business owner even saying that Cruz merely does what she does for the publicity.

"She comes out, goes on television and pats herself on the back,” Simon Menendez told Fox News. “It stopped being about us a long time ago.”

The fact that the Puerto Rican government reported 64 people died as a result of the powerful storms has been brought into question after the New England Journal (NEJM) of Medicine recently surveyed that over 4,600 people were killed from September 20, 2017 to December 31, 2017.

Cruz is a vocal Trump-basher, saying after Maria devastated the area that the federal government was “killing” Puerto Ricans. Her assertion that the Trump administration wasn’t doing enough was possibly a mask for her government accruing billions of dollars in debt. Before the hurricanes even affected the country of Puerto Rico, CNN called the country’s financial situation “utter economic misery.”

Some of you may remember Cruz from her interview with Geraldo Rivera on Fox News. Rivera called out the mayor on her BS.

Sounds like someone might’ve possibly gone into business for herself.
