Public School Teacher Explodes In Profane Tirade Over COVID Numbers and Masks

Who wouldn’t be delighted to have his or her child locked in a class with a teacher exhibiting such absolute class as this?

Who wouldn’t love to be forced by government to pay this teacher’s salary?

And who wouldn’t be utterly jazzed to discover that this same teacher is also a member of a neighboring school committee itself?

Sure, this is sarcasm, but, given that the locale for this sordid tale is northeastern Massachusetts, it’s possible that the majority of self-loathing leftists in the state might actually enjoy every one of those debasing experiences.

As noted with incredible color by Uncle Turtleboy, of Turtleboy Sports, Newburyport High School science teacher and Triton Regional School Committee member Paul Goldner recently made a spectacle of himself with profanity-laden online posts in which he accused others of being reckless about COVID19 -- even as he, Turtleboy Sports reveals, got his kitchen checked for remodeling during Massachusetts lockdowns.

Writes Uncle Turtleboy:

Paul is a member of a group I’m also in called Merrimack Valley Eats, a non-scammy version of Greg Bates’ North Shore Eats. Under a recent post about restaurants reopening he shared his thoughts on people who think that it’s OK for business owners to make a living.

Needless to say, Goldner was less than pleased by the idea of the economy getting back on its feet, writing:

Yes your f---ing asshole of a president lied to you and so now you don’t f---ing believe that people are dying at a rate that surpasses 9/11 on a daily basis, and this was f---ng preventable. But the number of deaths is reconstructible about 7 f---ing ways but f---ing morons won’t believe that, yes, people are f---ing dying. And so more people die. F--- you for killing people.

Which is a gorgeously unpleasant way for a teacher to overlook the fact that the Massachusetts lockdowns run contrary to most of the Bill of Rights, contrary to the Constitution’s Contract Clause forbidding state governments from infringing on the fulfillment of existing private contracts, and contrary to the ethics of voluntary association, and is also a lovely way to avoid the fact that his claim about deaths is unsupportable.

More on that in a moment.

Jim Sullivan reports for the Newburyport Daily News that, when word of Goldner’s charm got round the area, some folks, including parents, weren’t pleased.

Newbury resident Emily Abt is an administer for the Triton School District Parents In Favor of In Person Learning Facebook group that has been critical of the School Committee's recent votes to keep students in remote learning… ‘It's awful, it's disgusting,’ she said. ‘I have never spoken like that on Facebook or on any social media, ever. He should know better. He is a teacher and he is an adult who is using that language as a member of the School Committee. That has all been recorded. What are we showing our kids? That's a terrible role model to be. I'm not attacking his character, I'm simply judging the facts and what I am seeing.’

But what some people didn’t see was what Turtleboy revealed: the fact that, more than a week after Mass. Governor Charlie Baker (R – in name only) issued his first infamous “Stay At Home” lockdown on March 23, 2020, Goldner invited inspectors into his home on March 31, as a preface for a kitchen remodel project.

And then there’s Goldner’s insulting, generalizing, fact-vacant “apology”, as noted by Sullivan of the Daily News:

’Like many people, I have been under a lot of strain and stress on a lot of different fronts for the past year and I lost my cool and lost my temper last night over someone saying that COVID had not killed 400,000 people,’ Goldner said. ‘I exploded in a way that I absolutely should not have and I regret that I did that. It was an inappropriate way of expressing myself.’

No mention of him offering to step away from being in front of kids five days a week, at the expense of many of the people he insulted online. Nah. And no mention of him stepping away from his committee, where he helps decide what kids will “learn” in the Triton Regional district.

And, of course, no mention that, as I have noted for MRCTV, his claim of 400,000 dead is unsupportable, because, since it is based on CDC numbers, those numbers are not realistic. Early in the so-called “pandemic,” the federal government started subsidizing medical centers if those centers listed deaths “with COVID19” as deaths “from COVID19." (This was noted in a slightly reworded form by Dr. Deborah Birx, when she headed Trump’s Coronavirus Response Team.) COVID death tolls have been openly questioned by medical officials, including medical examiners who've noted that some deaths clearly attributed to other causes - gunshot wounds, for example - have been listed as "COVID deaths" as long as the deceased had tested positive for the disease before their demise.

But, don’t worry. Goldner is a “science” teacher.

On the public dole.

It’s a beautiful world.
