White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to answer whether President Joe Biden believes an unborn human baby at 15 weeks in, in fact, a human being.

CNS News reporter Melanie Arter asked Psaki, “Does the President believe that a 15-weekold unborn baby is a human being?”

In an obvious dodge that barely gave a nod to the actual question she was asked, Psaki responded: “Are you asking me if the President supports a woman’s right to choose? He does.”

Psaki’s bob-and-weave echoes a similar one offered by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a press briefing last week, when another CNS reporter Julia Johnson asked the same question: "Is an unborn baby at 15 weeks a human being?”

“Let me just say that I am a big supporter of Roe v. Wade,” Pelosi answered, avoiding the question. “I am a mother of five children in six years. I think I have some standing on this issue as to respecting a woman’s right to choose.”

The question, perhaps more relevant now than ever, comes as the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments over the Mississippi Gestational Age Act, which bans most abortions past the gestational age of 15 weeks.
