Protesters shut down the street in front of the recently purchased Chicago Stock Exchange on Tuesday calling for the defunding of police and the dismantling of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

Some of the protesters have even chained themselves to ladders and to each other on Congress Parkway and LaSalle Avenue.

The group is being led by the Organized Communities Against Deportation (OCAD).

According to the their Twitter, OCAD “seeks to stop deportations in our communities through mobilization, advocacy and education.”

Police seem to have unlocked all of the protesters who chained themselves up.

OCAD is now saying that they will be mobilizing around 18th and State Street in front of the Chicago Police Department to protest those that have been arrested.
