In the latest chapter of his “American Pravda” series exposing the blatant left-leaning bias in the media, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released new video this week exposing the “holy grail” of journalism: the New York Times.

An undercover Veritas journalist basically shadowed New York Times Audience Strategy Editor Nicholas Dudich, who claims in the video to have worked on former president Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns, as well as failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign.

At one point, Dudich told the undercover reporter that former FBI Director James Comey is his “godfather."

Dudich also openly admitted to targeting President Donald Trump:

I’d target his businesses, his dumb f**k of a son, Donald Jr., and Eric, so they’re running Trump, like, the Trump business. Target that. Get people to boycott going to his hotels. Boycott…So a lot of the Trump brands, if you can ruin the Trump brand, and you put pressure on his business and you start investigating his business and you start shutting it down, or they’re hacking of other things. He care about his business more than he cares about being president.

As if that wasn’t enough proof of bias, Dudich then said he hoped Trump would do something rash in light of his businesses failing.

“He [Trump] would resign,” Dudich said. “Or he’d lash out and do something incredibly illegal, which he would have to.”

Dudich admitted he had to find a job that didn’t classify him a journalist so that he could work on Clinton’s 2016 campaign, claiming he did so because “Trump was a threat.”

“I saw the threat and I was like I want to do something, I can’t just do what I do because yeah, Trump was a threat and still is a threat and,” Dudich said. "He’s a threat to everything."

In a really strange twist, Dudich also claimed his parents have known the Comeys for a long time, saying he's kept his personal connection with the former FBI director hidden from his current employers at the Times.

“That’s something even John Michael [Cassetta, Video Strategy and Operations Editor at the Times] has no idea about,” Dudich told the Veritas reporter. “No one at the Times has any idea about it.”

"The Comey hearing, I should have recused myself,” Dudich admitted. “But I’m not ever telling anybody there I that I have a tie with or else I don’t know if they can keep me on.”

Unfortunately for Dudich, the undercover journalist got in touch with his father, Michael -- who says that's all a bunch of crap.

“He’s not James Comey’s godson,” Michael Dudich said. “I don’t even know James Comey.”

In a follow-up phone call to the younger Dudich, the undercover Veritas reporter asked him how much of what he'd previously told her were lies.

“Not much,” Dudich said. He then admitted that James Comey is not, in fact, his godfather, but that the lie made for “a good story.”

Off-the-wall claims aside, the whole bizarre interaction begs the question of just how many people like this guy are in charge of what the American people get fed on daily basis as "news." Who knows how much of Dudich’s claims were true?

Either way, it seems as though Dudich might be looking for work in the very near future.
