'Progressive' Netroots Nation Conference Pushes the 'All Gender Restroom'

This past week I went to the Netroots Nation conference in Philadelphia and had what I would call an “interesting” experience.

Netroots itself is a “progressive” event that attracts all kinds of liberals from across the country, which would likely lead many to believe that there would be a lot of “inclusion” going on.

That thought became certain when it was time for me to go to the restroom.

My whole life — from a young boy to a grown man — I’ve never had trouble figuring out what bathroom to enter. But my time at the Philadelphia Convention Center, which was mostly taken over by what I would call far-leftists, changed that very simple task into something I hadn’t imagined.

Meet the “All Gender Restroom.”

Now, I know we’ve heard about these restrooms on the news and read stories about them, but this was my first time seeing one in person. Talk about confusing!

I didn’t know what to do. I had to use the restroom but wanted to do it comfortably. But how can one be comfortable when they have no idea what they’re about to experience if they decide to enter that unknown territory?

Luckily — after searching the main floor of the convention center — I found a more conventional restroom to relieve myself. (I assumed they wouldn’t allow the “progressives” to take over the whole building, and for that, I was grateful).

A couple of things I noticed about these restrooms:

  • I did walk into the restrooms and realized they were just normal men’s and women’s rooms that Netroots had taken over to appear like they were some new thing.
  • Most people approached the bathrooms with a hint of confusion with some entering the room but quickly leaving when they recognized they were in the wrong bathroom. Others looked at the “all gender” sign and walked away.
  • In their attempt to literally cover-up reality, the anti-science progressives couldn’t cover up what people actually knew in their hearts (i.e. there are only 2 genders and those genders are different).

If you look at the above photo, you’ll see they did their best to hide the men’s restroom sign with white paper along with the male and female sign being covered up with the “all gender” plaque.

I write this blog to show that things are getting really weird out here and it really is something else when you face this issue in person. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been more confused in my life.
