Pro-Abortion Activist Jordan 'High-Kick' Hunt Sentenced to Just 8 Months Probation For Assaulting a Pro-Lifer

The infamous “hippie-tough-guy” hairstylist, who in September of 2018 stupidly, arrogantly, viciously roundhouse-kicked a pro-life demonstrator in Toronto, has been sentenced by a Canadian court to - get this - eight months probation and a 100-meter exclusion zone from pro-life activists.

As Steve Ertelt reports for LifeNews:

Initially, Hunt was charged with 8 counts of assault and 7 counts of criminal mischief, including an additional charge for a previous assault. That assault was the other assault Hunt committed against another pro-life advocate. Hunt was released after he was charged on $500 bail and his bail conditions forbade him to be within 500 meters of any 'organized pro-life demonstration.'

So, in essence, he’s being given a second chance. Which is a lot more than aborted babies receive.

And if that seems a low blow, consider the man’s attitude, as exhibited on video, wherein the woman he soon assaulted, Campaign Life Coalition Youth Coordinator Marie-Claire Bissonnette, got out her phone because, as she explained, Hunt was using markers to deface pro-life signs and t-shirts.

One of them, she noted, was the shirt of a 10-year-old girl.

He’s holding the markers in his hand as Bissonnette approaches him to ask him why he’s behaving as he is. He acts flippant, asks her a hypothetical about rape and abortion, then hauls off with a roundhouse kick.

So he was alleged to have been destroying private property. Then, when confronted about it, he assaulted the woman.

Hunt claimed that he was “aiming for her phone” and accidentally connected with her person, instead.

That’s irrelevant. Aiming for the phone in her hand was not only assault, it was an attempt to destroy her property.

His public statement in the case?

The court also reportedly read a letter from Hunt apologizing for his actions, which read in part: 'Everyone should have the right to be without fear when they act on their beliefs. I sincerely regret that I chose such a poor way of expressing myself.'

Which is a sly way to equate assault and destruction of property with freedom of expression.

But this is typical of the violent collectivist left in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

As has been well documented, it was hardcore leftists who initiated the violent confrontations on college campuses in recent years, starting with the pepper-spray attacks and beatings perpetrated by leftists at Berkeley in 2017 prior to a Milo Yiannopoulos appearance.

Even England’s hardcore left applauds assault and tries to call it something else, as has been demonstrated by editorialists such as Guardian opinion writer Stuart Jeffries, who called hitting people with milkshakes “ridicule” and defined it as a “legitimate form of protest”.

It’s all part-and-parcel with the postmodernist M.O. For decades in the West, postmodernists have attempted to lay a claim to the language. This power is, in turn, used to demonize the ideologically impure, the individualist who will stand for human rights and truth, rather than the collectivization of the world, the destruction of natural rights, individual sovereignty, and the use of power to control others.

In “1984” George Orwell had one character, an enthusiast for the state-controlled language of “NewSpeak,” explain to the protagonist why it was important to manipulate the meaning of words:

'Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thought-crime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed will be expressed by eactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten. . . . The process will still be continuing long after you and I are dead. Every year fewer and fewer words, and the range of consciousness always a little smaller. Even now, of course, there's no reason or excuse for committing thought-crime. It's merely a question of self-discipline, reality-control. But in the end there won't be any need even for that. . . . Has it ever occcured to you, Winston, that by the year 2050, at the very latest, not a single human being will be alive who could understand such a conversation as we are having now?'

Hunt’s lame excuse is a form of NewSpeak, and no one should fall for it.

Maintain integrity. Fight for principle. Shun those who would try to suck you into their intellectual and moral void.
