Trump Renews Call For a Border Wall Following Border Agent's Death

President Trump renewed his call for a border wall following the killing of U.S. Border Agent Rogelio Martinez along Interstate 10 in Van Horn, Texas.

The Washington Post reported that Martinez’ and his partner were “responding to activity” during the time of the attack. After the attack, Martinez’ partner called for help and the two were taken to the hospital where Martinez died from his injuries and his partner sustained injuries that left him in critical condition.

While the cause of Martinez’ death remains uncertain, officials believe that guns were not involved in the attack, according to the San Antonio Express News. A local border patrol union rep confirmed to Breitbart Texas the two agents were assaulted with rocks.
