President Trump to 'Never Happy' Congresswomen: 'If You're Not Happy Here, Then You Can Leave'

1.9k views

President Donald Trump may have used a variation of an old cliche on Monday at the White House, but the use of it was applicable considering the subject matter. Every single day in this country we see and hear activists-a-plenty — some in Congress, and most not — denigrating and deriding the country that allows them the privileges they enjoy on a daily basis.

Following his hosting of the 3rd Annual Made in America Product Showcase, Trump was asked about his Sunday tweets directed to “Progressive Democrat Congresswomen” as being “racist.” Needless to say, Trump wasn’t having any of that kind of talk.

The president responded to what seemed like “woke” reporters with an agenda to smear the president in no uncertain terms.

“If you’re not happy here, then you can leave,” Trump defiantly said. “As far as I’m concerned, if you hate our country — if you’re not happy here — you can leave.”

Trump referred to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) as a part of the portion of people who he believes “hate our country.” The Commander-in-Chief brought up Omar’s past statements and/or references to the radical Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda and her “some people” comment when talking about the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Trump didn't refer to her by name, almost as if on purpose, but the president mentioned socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and her successful campaign to keep Amazon from building a brand new facility that would have created 25,000 jobs in her home state.

“Nevertheless, they’re free to leave if they want,” Trump said, summing up his comments. “And if they want to leave, that’s fine. And if they want to stay, that’s fine. But the people have to know.”

Trump’s got a point. Whether you agree or disagree with certain politicians statements criticizing the U.S., the people have a right to know.
