President Donald Trump blasted CNN Friday morning during his joint press conference with United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May.
“CNN is fake news,” Trump said as reporter Jim Acosta attempted to ask a question. “I don’t take questions from CNN,” the president continued.
Trump then called on John Roberts of Fox News, which he called a “real network.”
“Let’s go to a real network,” he said.
Acosta responded to Trump, saying, “we are a real network too, sir.”
The CNN White House correspondent has a history of feuding with the current administration. Trump famously pointed at Acosta in 2017, stating, “you are fake news.”
