President Trump Declares 'Houses of Essential Places That Provide Essential Services'

During a brief appearance at Friday's White House press briefing, President Donald Trump declared that all "houses of worship" will immediately be deemed as "essential."

Here's part of what Trump told reporters:

Today I’m identifying houses of worship - churches, synagogues and mosques - as essential places that provide essential services. Some governors have deemed liquor stores and abortion clinics as essential, but have left out churches and other houses of worship. That's not right. So I'm correcting this injustice and calling houses of worship essential.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently posted "Interim Guidance for Communities of Faith" on their website. The "guidance" suggests "general considerations" to the public for their return to houses of worship.
