Secretary of State Mike Pompeo left for North Korea on Thursday with a two-pronged mission: negotiate denuclearization and deliver some personal gifts to Kim Jong-un.

One of the gifts President Trump had delivered to the North Korean dictator was a handwritten letter. The other: a personalized and signed CD with the track "Rocket Man" by Elton John, The Chosun Ilbo, a South Korean newspaper, reports.

According to Fox News, the CD was “the subject of discussion during Trump's lunch with Kim” during the nuclear summit last month in Singapore.

“Trump then asked Kim if he knew the song and Kim said, 'No.' Trump remembered the conversation and told Pompeo to take a CD with the song for Kim. He reportedly wrote a message on it and signed it,” a Washington diplomatic source said.

Commenting on his trip, Secretary Pompeo said "On this trip, I'm seeking to fill in some details on these commitments and continue the momentum toward implementation of what the two leaders promised each other and the world. I expect that the DPRK is ready to do the same.”

People on Twitter lost their minds.

The nickname, coined by Trump in Huntsville, Alabama last year, was originally believed to be mocking Kim Jong-un, but according to Business Insider, it was actually meant to be a compliment to the ruler.
