According to a new Rasmussen poll, most Americans are doubtful that their fellow citizens are informed about the issues when they go to the polls.

The findings reveal that a measly 18% of U.S. voters believe most Americans are "informed voters," meanwhile 65% think most Americans are "not informed" and 16% are undecided.

On the flip-side, 87% of respondents consider themselves informed voters. Only 6% disagree with that sentiment.

The poll comes ahead of the November midterm elections.

President Trump will be campaigning on behalf of Republican Senate nominee Josh Hawley and other GOP candidates in Springfield, Mo., Friday evening.
