What's the biggest problem facing the United States?
The economy? Unemployment? Racism?
Nope. Nope and Nope.
According to a new Gallup poll the biggest problem that the Unites States is currently facing is "Government." In fact, Gallup has found that government has been seen as America's biggest problem for the last four months.
The poll of 1,025 adults found that 18% of Americans cited "dissatisfaction with government" as the biggest problem facing the country, beating out the economy by seven points.
What the poll results don't say is what aspect of government Americans see as the problem. Is the government too big? Is there not enough government intervention in people's lives? Are people simply upset that gridlock has become the norm?
The poll also found that satisfaction with the direction of the country as a whole is still a dismal 31%. Roughly the same place it has been since 2005.
