Police Warn Against Attending Pro-Rape Blogger's 'International Meetup Day'

Maryland-based blogger Daryush Valizadeh, who advocates for legalizing rape, is organizing an “International Meetup Day” for supporters in numerous locations around the world.

There will be 165 locations in 43 countries where supporters of Valizadeh and his pro-rape ideology can “meetup” on Saturday night.

As reported by WGN, Valizadeh is best known for his books in which he gives advice and describes the best ways to manipulate a woman into having sex. He also is an advocate for legalizing rape inside private homes.

As instructed, hosts at each location around the world are being told to wait for supporters at 8 p.m. Saturday night. Supporters, most likely males, are instructed to ask, “Do you know where I can find the pet shop?”

Feminist groups are planning to protest at some of the locations. But police are also warning the meetings may be a ruse to lure women into dangerous situations, and are advising women to avoid the meeting places.

WGN reports:

Police in Des Moines posted a safety alert on Facebook urging women to stay away from the event and believe this may be potential to lure women to these various locations. They say "there is concern that this may be a ruse to commit rape."
