Police is Washington State fatally shot a suspect after he was resisting arrest and throwing rocks at them.

KNDU News reports Pasco Police responded to a 911 call reporting a man was throwing rocks at cars. The officers observed the man was endangering the public and used voice commands followed by a taser which had little effect. He then ran across the street and was pursued by the police. He then made a quick motion turning towards the officers while seemingly reaching for something on his person and was shot.

A witness reported, "He kept screaming, 'Shoot me, shoot me,' And they just told him to drop the rocks and he just did not want to listen."

Two officers were struck by rocks before the shooting and some of the rocks were bigger than a softball.

Here is a graphic video of right before the shooting:

The police chief stated:

"I would hope that the public would believe in us as they have for many many years," Chief Metzger said. "Believe in our system which they have for many many years. And at the end of the day the police department will do the right thing."

Antonio Zambrano-Montes had an altercation with police previously for hitting cars with a broom. When officers responded he threw a rocking chair at them and then tried to take their pistols our of the holsters. That confrontation ended with Mr. Zambrana-Montes safe in the hospital and being treated for Methamphetamine.

"We just want justice because today it happened to us, tomorrow it could be any other family," Blanca Zambrano, Antonio's cousin said, adding the family is in shock. Reports KNDU
