Police Investigating a Van Loaded With Propane and Potential Explosives As Violent Riots Continue

Philadelphia police are investigating a van found loaded with propane and possible explosives following several nights of violence and unrest that’s left multiple businesses across the city looted or destroyed by leftwing rioters.

A van at Logan Circle was discovered to be filled with propane tanks, torches and possible dynamite sticks, according to a reporter with 6ABC. The bomb squad is now looking into it.

It’s not yet clear who owns the van or whether it’s at all connected to the violent attacks that have raged across the city since the police shooting of 27-year-old Walter Wallace, a black man killed earlier this week after he threatened officers with a knife. The incident kicked off riots and mayhem as rioters attacked local businesses, looting stores and vandalizing businesses. One small locally owned clothing store that had just recently reopened after being ransacked back in May during the city’s first round of riots was one of dozens that got hit again this week.

“When we heard about the shooting of [Walter Wallace], I had a feeling it was going to happen again,” the owner said. “We had the same thing three and a half months ago, the whole store was grabbed. You couldn’t get any security at that time because it was too late, so we just had to wait until morning. And this is what we see in the morning.”
