Disney continues on its stride towards political correctness, as it unnecessarily transforms yet another live-action movie to attempt to satisfy the standards of the woke.
Photos obtained by Daily Mail show a first glance at the upcoming Snow White live-action remake that reveals the original seven dwarfs have been replaced with characters of various heights, ethnicities, and genders. Snow White, played by Latina actress Rachel Zegler, also made a feature alongside her colleagues.
This remake seems to take a pro-"diversity" turn from the original 1937 film, which portrays Snow White as a German princess with “skin as white as snow.”

The casting decisions have drawn plenty of reactions from supporters and critics alike. Zegler responded to the controversy, saying the princess story needed “refreshing,” according to the Daily Mail.
“People are making these jokes about ours being the PC Snow White... yeah, it is - because it needed that,” she said. “Our version is a refreshing story about a young woman who has a function beyond Someday My Prince Will Come.”

Many critics have also shared their thoughts on the seven dwarfs. In January 2022, Disney announced that they are taking a “different approach” for the Snow White film to avoid “reinforcing stereotypes” following criticism from Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
“Literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White — but you’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” Dinklage said on the WTF podcast.
“Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me. You’re progressive in one way, but then you’re still making that f*****g backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together,” he continues.“What the f*** are you doing, man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough.”
The upcoming film, co-written by Barbie’s Greta Gerwig will also abandon a “Prince Charming” character to instead focus on a “stronger” version of Snow White with aspirations of being a leader.
Political correctness and inclusiveness do not sell, as we have seen with recent woke films produced by Hollywood. Snow White is still a household name nearly 90 years after the original film because of the amusing characters and classic love story many girls enjoy watching and dream of having. It seems Hollywood will never understand - or care - as it continues to shove wokeness down our throats with every film it produces.
