Not even Peppa Pig is safe from the tentacles of the alphabet people.

In a recent post, the official Instagram page for Peppa Pig, a popular cartoon show for toddlers and preschool-age children, wished its young fans a “Happy Pride Month," in a post featuring all of the show’s characters under a rainbow with the caption, "Here's to celebrating love."

This, of course, prompted backlash from parents and others who said messages about sexuality and gender have no place in a show aimed at little kids.

“Definitely makes me want to unfollow. Sexuality needs to stop being pushed on our children. Let them grow up,” one comment read.

“So disappointed to see a Pride Month post on Peppa Pig's official page. I believe it's important to let kids be kids without exposing them to certain topics. Let's keep children's content focused on innocence and entertainment,” another instagram user commented.

Twitter users also expressed similar outrage. One user replied to the post, “Officially done with you in my home. Sick groomers.," while another user commented, “Leave the kids alone!”

This comes as other children shows have recently been pushing LGBTQ propaganda in their programming.

The timeless kids cartoon Looney Tunes recently encouraged drag by posting pictures of character Bugs Bunny in women's dresses and makeup, according to Breitbart News

Other kids' shows have also been adding more LGBTQ characters to their casts. In 2019, the beloved TV show Arthur revealed that the teacher Mr. Ratburn was gay and featured an episode in which he married another man.
