The Pentagon has released drone footage showing the raid on Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s compound in Syria's northwestern Idlib province, a mission that left the ISIS leader dead, along with four women and another man.

During the video's public release, Marine Corps Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., commander of U.S. Central Command, explained point-by-point how U.S. Special Forces were able ton infiltrate the compound and ultimately chase al-Baghdadi into a tunnel, where he detonated his suicide vest and killed both himself and two children.
