Nancy Pelosi Presser

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) held a press conference on Capitol Hill Friday morning, less than a day after fired FBI Director James Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee, just to criticize President Trump.

Despite how the Comey hearing had left Trump essentially unscathed and some might argue even vindicated, Pelosi questioned him and his intentions by asking whether the President was even curious about how Russia influenced the 2016 election.

She argued that Trump put our national security in jeopardy “by his attitude toward Russia's President Vladimir Putin,” putting him “on a pedestal” during his presidential campaign.

She even went so far as to condemn his entire presidency as a “failure” thus far.

“Here we are, seven months since the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States. And as we look to our responsibilities to the American people, we can see that it’s seven months of failure,” she fired.

Pelosi added that the President has done nothing to improve America’s economic security, despite his efforts to keep U.S. jobs from going overseas.

“Where are the jobs? The election was about jobs. Jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs. He promised jobs. What has he done? He’s been a job loser,” she said.

“Donald Trump is a job loser,” Pelosi reiterated, citing a Center for American Progress analysis that estimates 1.8 million jobs lost if the House of Representative repeal and replace bill were to be enacted.

Even though Comey testified under oath that he told Trump on three separate occasions that he was not under investigation by the FBI, Pelosi said his words meant nothing, MRCTV reports.

She said that just because Comey said he wasn't under investigation doesn't mean his campaign wasn't.

Pelosi went on a Twitter rant Tuesday morning, suggesting that Trump bullied Comey.
