As if ripping up the script on live television wasn’t enough, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a press conference on Thursday slammed President Trump’s State of the Union Address as a “manifesto of mistruths.”

When asked about inviting President Trump back next year to deliver the next SOTU address, Pelosi snapped back saying, "There will be a new president next year. That is an absolute imperative."

She went on to defend her gesture as a "dignified act" and said that she feels "very liberated," having shown "every level of respect" to the President.

Pelosi added Trump allegedly snubbing her attempt at a handshake "meant nothing to me."

"He looked to me like he was a little sedated [anyway]," she alleged.

Wow.

Many were wondering how Pelosi was going to top her "clapback" at the last SOTU address.

In case you missed her latest tantrum, here it is:

Her dramatic gesture Wednesday night came after the Senate voted to acquit the President on both articles of impeachment against him.

President Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast Thursday morning criticized Pelosi, saying, "I don't like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong."

"Nor do I like people who say, I pray for you, when they know that that's not so," he said.
