Nancy Pelosi gave a bizarre explanation for the deadly fires currently raging across much of California and Oregon, telling MSNBC's Joy Reid that “Mother Earth is angry” about climate change.
“Mother Earth is angry. Whether she’s telling us with hurricanes, fires in the West, whatever it is, the climate crisis is real and has an impact,” Pelosi said.

I assume we’re supposed to take it on face value that all these natural disasters, which have occurred for eons because hurricanes and wildfires in certain areas aren’t exactly new phenomena, are now because Mother Earth hates our guts for driving cars to work and burning coal so we don’t freeze to death in the winter.
Of course, who should really be angry are the people whose homes have been destroyed and who have lost friends and family members to the blaze – one of which was started not by a ticked off “Mother Earth,” but rather by a couple of idiotswho decided doing a gender reveal with fireworks in the middle of a hot, dry summer in California was a good idea.
