You've heard of men who think they're women. You've heard of women who think they're men.
Now, meet the "gender minotaur" - a completely made-up pile of garbage that's nevertheless being touted by an actual clinical psychologist and professor in charge of treating children and educating future health care providers. May God help us all.
She’s Diane Ehrensaft, and her list of held titles goes a lot deeper than her IQ. She’s the director of mental health and chief psychologist at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital gender development center, where she specializes in pediatric "gender-affirmative care for transgender and gender-expansive patients” - i.e., the mutilation of children - which tells you about all you need to know right there.
On top of that, she’s a professor at UCSF School of Medicine, where she presumably indoctrinates the next generation of our nation’s medical staff with biology-denying propaganda. Oh! And she’s a self-identified "feminist" who supports a "gender revolution," is the” - which apparently includes encouraging children to “identify” as mermaids and other mythological creatures.
Among Ehrensaft’s bizarre beliefs is the idea that children can change their “gender identity” at any given time, and that this “identity” can come and go with seasons and chapters in their lives. She also said kids can “identify” as "gender hybrids" modeled after non-human creatures and that this is perfectly valid, telling the story of a 7-year-old who came into her office and told her he identifies as a “gender Prius - I'm a boy in the front, and I'm a girl in the back."
"I started meeting a whole bunch of other gender hybrids. And so we have the gender Prius, we have a gender Minotaur," she said, referring to a creature from Greek mythology that’s half-man, half-bull. "And most of the kids who are gender minotaurs love mermaids. So make sure you have a lot of mermaid books. If you really you think about it, it works.”

If by “works” you mean makes no sense whatsoever, then sure.
And if this sounds like flights of fancy by small children, you’d be right - and Ehrensaft sees nothing wrong with restructuring our entire society to “affirm” it, even claiming that children are actually the experts on the subject.
“We are in the midst of a gender revolution and the children are leading it. And it's a wonderful thing to see,” she said during a 2018 talk at the San Francisco Public Library, per Fox News. "And it's also humbling to know [children] know more than we do about this topic of being gender expansive."
At the point, it seems Ehrensaft has "expanded" her view of gender to the point where her brain - assuming she had one to begin with - has fallen completely out of her head.
