WCSC reports that a man was arrested in Charleston, SC after he was shot by a homeowner over the weekend.
Officials report that they discovered 37- year old Lawrence Butler Jr. at the scene.
Two residents were inside the home when Butler broke a glass window in the front door and climbed through where he was shot in the left arm by the homeowner, deputies say.

Butler reportedly told authorities that he had consumed drugs and alcohol at nearby party earlier in the evening. Officials say they uncovered drugs in his possession.
The homeowners, both in their 60’s, are not expected to face charges for firing the weapon.
