A Harvard-Harris survey conducted on May 18th and 19th revealed that a majority of Democrats support referring to children by their chosen pronouns, rather than those determined by their biological sex.
A shocking 61 percent of Democrats polled responded in the affirmative when asked, “Do you think that kids should be able to pick their pronouns - he, she or they?” rather than being “called by their sex.”
Out of the 1,963 registered voters surveyed, Democrats’ opinion on kids' pronouns seem to stray from that of the general population (59 percent), with 77 percent of Republicans and 64 percent of independents disagreeing with the Democrats’ position.
Perhaps more radically, 56 percent of Democrats agreed that teachers “should be required to use pronouns that kids say they want used under penalty of losing their job.” The general populace was even more opposed to this idea, with 63 percent — including 79 percent of Republicans and 67 percent of independents — responding negatively to it.

These polling results seem to affirm the old adage that the Democratic Party is no longer “the party of JFK.” Instead, the current iteration of the Democratic Party seems intent on damaging the development of children through their policies.
As the Heritage Foundation’s Ryan T. Anderson put it, “[T]he best studies of gender dysphoria show that between 80 and 95 percent of children who express a discordant gender identity will come to identify with their bodily sex if natural development is allowed to proceed.”
The “transitioning” treatment, on the other hand, often has decidedly negative outcomes. Per Anderson, even in the most socially “progressive” countries, rates of suicide post-transition are far higher than that of the population at-large.
