Biden Says He 'Doesn't Mean It As a Criticism' That China's President Isn't 'Democratic'

Unlike his predecessor, President Joe Biden believes in handling evil communist regimes with kid gloves.

In an interview on "Face the Nation" with CBS’s Norah O’Donnell on Sunday, Biden did his best to avoid treading on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s toes. Referring to Xi, Biden alleged that the communist dictator is "very bright, he’s very tough. He doesn’t have, and I don’t mean this as a criticism, just a reality, he doesn’t have a democratic ‘small D’ bone in his body.”

What a profound statement to make: that a communist who is openly perpetuating genocide against an ethnic minority does not have a “democratic ‘small D’ bone in his body.”

And apparently, Biden didn’t even mean it “as a criticism” either, even praising the communist dictator to cushion the blow.

“The question is, I’ve said to him all along, that we need not have a conflict, but there’s going to be extreme competition, and I’m not going to do it the way that he knows this, because he’s been sending signals as well that I’m not going to do it the way Trump did. We’re going to focus on international rules at the road," Biden said.

America's president is really such a considerate human being, don't you think?

Contrary to Biden's preferred method, “the way” Trump did it was so infuriating to the Chinese that they were actually pleased to see him go. Meanwhile, Biden hasn’t done anything remotely bold against China’s Communist Party. In contrast, he signed an executive order prohibiting Americans from calling COVID-19 names such as the “Chinese coronavirus” on the grounds that it perpetuated racism and xenophobia. Is he trying to absolve China for spreading the virus that probably originated in their country?

Biden’s behavior has shown that he’s overly respectful of Beijing. Whether this negatively affects America remains to be seen.
