It’s one of those moments that make you simply scratch your head and go,” ……huh?”
Or, as is usually the case of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, any moment on any day that ends in “y.”
The congresswoman-elect for New York’s 14th District posted a video to social media over the weekend urging Democrats to “work [their] butts off” to “take back all three chambers of government,” which, in her world, includes “the presidency, the Senate, and the House.”
"If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress — Uh, rather, all three chambers of government: the presidency, the Senate, and the House,” the newly-elected future lawmaker explained from what looks like a bedroom.

For those who snoozed through Civics 101, the U.S. government is divided into three equal branches of government: the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. Congress, on the other hand, is divided into two chambers.
But knowing the basic makeup of the federal government need not be a requirement of those who serve in it. After all, what could possibly go wrong?
