Fox host Bill O’Reilly eviscerated President Obama's credibility during the O’Reilly Factor last night, saying: “Millions of Americans do not trust President Obama to protect us from the deranged mullahs” in Iran “who have committed atrocities for decades.”

O’Reilly said that “the president has not done much to persuade non-liberal Americans that his policies are good for them” during his Talking Points Memo segment, and he cited a Quinnipiac poll to prove his point. That poll showed that while 42% of Americans trust President Obama, just 4% of self-described Republicans do. 47% of Americans trust Republicans over Obama.

O’Reilly continued:

“American foreign policy is a mess as Mr. Obama has made major mistakes in the Middle East, has no solution for Putin, and generally seems confused by evil in the world.

So in a vital situation -- stopping Iran from developing nuclear weapons -- the president finds himself with little credibility.

Therefore when he says the deal is good, many Americans, perhaps most, simply don't believe him.”

Obama doesn’t want Congress to debate a bill that would require President Obama to submit any treaty agreed with Iran to the Senate and House for approval. O’Reilly said it “would be a disaster for America and for the president himself” if the President vetoes Congress on this.

“Simply put, millions of Americans do not trust President Obama to protect us from the deranged mullahs who have committed atrocities for decades,” he said.
