It turns out if you’re a real Karen, you’re more than likely a Democrat.

While hardly a factor in analyzing the polls, this newly revealed factoid is pretty funny – until you remember that for the left, being a Karen can get all too serious.

Without anyone knowing exactly how it happened, the name “Karen” has become a euphemism in modern pop culture for a stereotypical suburban housewife – or at this point anyone, really – who sticks her nose in other people’s business to scold or report them for otherwise trivial behavior. From calling the cops to report a child’s unlicensed lemonade stand to accosting someone for not wearing a face mask or appropriately socially distancing, the moniker "Karen" has become a catch-all reference for the type of entitled person who demands to see a manager for even the most minor of infractions. While used by both sides of the aisle, the term is most often used by the left as a pejorative to describe white women who use their so-called "privilege" to target minorities for getting in her way.

Unfortunately for many Americans who, through no fault of their own, have now found themselves lumped into the new insult by proxy, the name isn't uncommon. In fact, according to a survey of about 17,000 likely voters conducted by the New York Times, the name “Karen” landed among the top 10 most common names among all women polled.

And, according to the survey, most "Karens" say they support Democrats.

In fact, a full 60 percent of the survey’s “Karens” said they’re voting for Joe Biden this year, compared with just 40 percent who said they support Trump. Broken down another way, more Karens said they were voting for Biden than any other female name on the top 10 list.

Of those with the top most common names who said they were voting for Trump, “Richards” name in first for the guys at 64 percent, while “Nancys” landed the No. 1 spot among women at 54 percent.

Out of everyone – including those with less common names – “Donalds” said they’re voting for Trump at a rate of 68 percent, while on the opposite end of the spectrum, 68 percent of all “Sarahs” said they were backing Biden.
