NY Times Photographer: Trump Gives Us Lots More Access Than Obama

A New York Times photographer – I know, right? – admitted this week that contrary to the popular liberal media diatribe, President Trump is actually a lot more accommodating to the press than President Obama.

Photographer Doug Mills told C-SPAN he’s actually had a much easier time photographing at Trump’s White House than Obama’s, particularly when it comes to all the “behind-the-scenes” stuff.

"We're getting a lot more, I mean from a photographer's standpoint, we get a lot more access to the president. I see him more on a daily basis than we did with Barack Obama."

The Washington Examiner adds:

The veteran photographer said more access to the president and the Oval Office allows them to be creative and give people a better idea of what’s happening in the room.

Mills’ insight seems to contradict the common left-wing narrative that Trump intentionally blocks news outlets from covering his comings and goings. While the President has understandably taken defensive swings at the liberal media’s targeted attempts to smear his administration, it looks like his calling out blatant media bias hasn’t stopped him from letting them do their jobs – no matter what line they’re willing to peddle for ratings.
