A nonprofit organization has set out to create the “biggest, baddest costumes” for children in wheelchairs.

Ryan & Lana Weimer, the founders of Magic Wheelchair, have five children, three of which who were born with a form of Muscular Dystrophy – a condition that will require them to use wheelchairs for the entirety of their lives.

Inspired by their personal experience, the Weimers, with help from a team of designers and architects, select five lucky children each year to give "an unforgettable Halloween by creating custom costumes for them at no expense to their families," their company mission reads

The whimsical costumes are each unique and individualized per each child’s requests.

Wheelchair tranformations include medieval knights, dragons, and even pirate ships.
