Nikki Haley: Trump Showed 'Restraint' Not Going After Soleimani Two Years Ago

The media and celebrities on the left have just become sad parodies of their former selves following the about-time death of Iranian terrorist general Qassem Soleimani. They’re so sad that they’re pretty much the only group of people in the world besides some radical sheep still in Iran that are mourning this guy’s death. It goes to show that the left doesn’t really care if Americans die if the person that orders them dead is eventually killed by order of President Donald Trump.

Former South Carolina governor and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Nikki Haley joined Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Monday to talk about Soleimani’s death and the reaction from both the left and Trump.

While Haley brought up her 2018 speech to the UN, in which she spoke about Soleimani and his attempts to influence the Iraqi government, she made a very interesting observation that — unless you looked for it — probably went by without a whimper.

“I think the president showed great decisiveness, great resolve,” Haley said before continuing. “And I think that this was a long time coming. If you look back two years ago, I gave a speech at the UN on Soleimani and talked about the threats. The president has had restraint, all of this time, since we gave that speech.”

Bingo! How many times in your life have you heard about the intelligence community having knowledge of the whereabouts and dealings of violent extremist terrorists years before either doing anything or before being attacked in some way?

This president, whether you like him or not, said enough is enough before more people could killed by Soleimani’s command. Two years is more than enough of a cushion for anyone who is under watch by federal governments to straighten up their act. Soleimani was just a power-hungry, Iranian-utopia loser who ate U.S. fire before he could do any more damage to Americans and his own people.

As far as the left, Haley had a little firepower of her own for their ignorance in defending terrorists.

“I’ll tell you this,” Haley began, “you don’t see anyone standing up for Iran. You’re not hearing any of the [Persian] Gulf members, you’re not hearing China, you’re not hearing Russia. The only ones that are mourning the loss of Soleimani are our Democrat leadership and our Democrat presidential candidates. No one else in the world, because they knew that this man had evil [in his] veins, they knew what he was capable of and they saw the destruction and the lives lost based on his hands.”

Ouch!

We’re past Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) at this point. With actions like slamming Trump for ordering the long overdue death of Soleimani, it could very well be said that some people on the left — and I’m talking about the media, celebrities and the Twitterverse — have legitimate mental health problems — and I’m in no way trying to minimize people with serious issues. But, it’s gotten a little ridiculous at this point.

When you hate someone so much that you'll defend a terrorist before your own country, it might be time to take a good long look in the mirror and question the decisions you've made that got you to this point.

At least none of the left have called Soleimani an "austere religious scholar."
