Can we please all be real for a minute? Let’s live in reality. This whole narrative by the establishment propaganda media that it was the administration of former President Joe Biden that pulled the wool over their eyes in terms of his cognitive decline is just that — propaganda. The legacy media were just as complicit in playing defense for a man in a situation that all of us understood perfectly years ago.
Now that we've got that out of the way, it was nice to see someone actually hold the legacy media clowns accountable for their use of disinformation.
Megyn Kelly had CNN anchor Jake Tapper on her show, “The Megyn Kelly Show,” to talk about his new book, as well as his claim that the Biden regime pulled a fast one on everyone by lying about the former president’s mental acuity.
As a quick aside, however you feel about Tapper, I’ll at the very most give him credit for doing an interview where he knew that his feet were going to be held to the proverbial fire.
Kelly asked Tapper about his perceived defense and protection of Biden during times when those on the other side of the ideological spectrum were continually calling out Biden’s gaffes, literal stumbles and instances of looking completely lost as evidence of his cognitive decline.
“I feel humility about my coverage,” Tapper admitted. “I mean, it’s not like I was asking [Biden] his favorite movie or his favorite color. We were talking about Putin, we were talking about other issues of national importance. But yeah, I mean of course. I’ve said I look back at my coverage with humility, and I wish I did cover the issues of age and acuity, but I wish I had covered them much more.”
After a couple of minutes of talking about the minutiae of the situation, Kelly directly confronted Tapper about his lack of reporting on something most people outside of the Washington D.C./New York bubble resoundingly knew.

“You covered the Biden presidency aggressively throughout the four years, and you didn’t cover mental acuity hardly at all,” Kelly said. “I mean, time and time again, when issues came up, you seemed to be running cover for the president. You didn’t seem interested.”
Tapper disagreed with Kelly’s assessment, and that’s when Kelly pulled out the now-infamous 2020 segment Tapper did with Lara Trump, where she said that she believed Biden was suffering from cognitive decline.
Kelly asked Tapper whether he’s apologized to Lara Trump about basically castigating her for her take and claiming Biden merely had a stutter before ending the segment where he attempted to make the audience think was absurd at the time.
Tapper claimed he called Trump months earlier while finishing his book and apologized to her.
“I thought the conversation went well, and she has said this publicly so I feel fine sharing it,” Tapper said. “She said that she would never mock anybody’s stutter. After we did the research for this book, and I realized how bad his acuity issues were, I called Lara Trump and I said, ‘You were right.’”
Of course she was right. And whatever Tapper claims is his story, at the very least, he had to have an inkling about it, too.
