On Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray floated a conspiracy theory to Congress that the establishment media is all too happy to repeat — that former President and current Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump wasn’t actually hit by a bullet during the assassination attempt against him on July 13.
In an exchange with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Wray brought into question the leftist social media denial on whether Trump’s ear was actually struck by a bullet or “shrapnel.”
“As I said, I think with respect to former President Trump, there's some question about whether or not it's a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray told Jordan.
Not one to shy away from confrontation, Trump responded to Wray’s conspiracy theory on his Truth Social platform, going so far as to say “the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!”

“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!),” Trump wrote, “but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively “uneventful” - Wrong!”
Newsweek, as well as other major outlets, repeated Wray’s conspiracy theory. And institutions like the establishment media, establishment pigs within the federal government and alphabet agencies, like the FBI, just can’t seem to figure out why very few people have any trust left for them anymore.
