On the same day that former President Donald Trump was issued a gag order by U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan — preventing him from speaking about Special Counsel Jack Smith and herself, as well as anyone affiliated with the court and witnesses — the 45th president took to his Truth Social to call out the Biden administration for their role in the lawsuits currently pending against him.

“I’ve got eight separate lawsuits going on that have been started, or strongly influenced by, the Biden Administration, for purposes of Election Interference,” Trump wrote. “No wonder our Country is doing so badly in EVERYTHING, and is the laughingstock of the World!”

Trump also warned of election interference before the 2020 presidential election, which he still contests was rigged.

As for the gag order, Fox News reported the following:

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan of the District of Columbia, who is presiding over Smith’s case against the former president for charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, made the decision during a court hearing on Monday.

Chutkan said Monday that the former president is able to criticize the Justice Department in general terms and has the right to post his view that the case against him is politically motivated. However, the judge said Trump cannot post attacks against prosecutors or court staff.

It remains to be seen if and how Trump will adhere to the order from Chutkan.
