With talk around social media, and media in general, being how Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t done any interviews or held any press conferences since replacing President Joe Biden as the November presidential election opponent of former President Donald Trump, one of the candidates seems very eager to debate the other.
As evidenced by his press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, Trump announced that his campaign has agree to three presidential debates with three different news outlets, all scheduled to happen in September.
“It’s very important to have debates,” Trump said. “And, we’ve agreed with Fox on a date of September 4th. We’ve agreed with NBC — fairly full agreement, subject to them — on September 10th. And, we’ve agreed with ABC on September 25th.”

Sept. 10 with NBC.

It appears that Harris has not yet agreed to the debates.

It’s interesting to note the proposed ABC debate since Trump is currently engaged in a defamation lawsuit against the network and anchor George Stephanopoulos.
Just two weeks ago, Judge Cecilia Altonaga of United States District Court in Miami denied a motion by ABC to throw the case out altogether.
“A jury may, upon viewing the segment, find there was sufficient context,” Altonaga ruled, according to Fox News. “But a reasonable jury could conclude Plaintiff was defamed and, as a result, dismissal is inappropriate.”
As of this writing, the Harris campaign has not agreed to the Fox or NBC debates. But, it's just being reported that Harris has agreed to the ABC debate.
