With the guilty verdict being handed down to former President Donald Trump on Thursday, you’re probably going to see a lot of reactions from leftists celebrating as if their team had just won the Super Bowl. In reality, no matter who this happened to, it’s a dark day for the American justice system, and that will be lost on lost people.
That being said, there are some that have conveyed the weight of the decision of the jury in the sham trial of Trump in New York. This is simply the reactions of two notable people who understand what’s really went on here.
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to X speak on the verdict, its effect on our systems and the possible motivations behind court cases such as this, going so far as to say “it is profoundly undemocratic.”
“The Democrats are afraid they will lose in the voting booth, so instead they after President Trump in the courtroom,” RFK Jr. wrote. “I’m also running against President Trump in this election. The difference is I’m challenging him on his record.”

Former Fox News host and current independent media journalist and podcaster Tucker Carlson also chimed in to talk about his take on the verdict, what it could possibly mean going forward and the threat a decision like this entails.

“Import the Third World, become the Third World,” Carlson posted. “That’s what we just saw. This won’t stop Trump. He’ll win the election if he’s not killed first. But it does mark the end of the fairest justice system in the world. Anyone who defends this verdict is a danger to you and your family.”

In response to Carlson’s X post, retired Army General Michael Flynn used different words, but essentially echoed Carlson’s statement.
“They are not after trump or you @TuckerCarlson or me, they are after America,” wrote Flynn. “They want to dominate America and all Americans. That’s what communists do.”

You don’t have to support Trump in order to understand the possible ramifications and precedent a decision like this means for the country. All you need to do is open your eyes to the fact that justice no longer seems to be blind.
