When it comes to level of propaganda pushed by different outlets and talking heads — not just in this country, but all over the world — you first have to ask, ‘What’s the motive behind what they’re saying?’ Plus, you also have to ask — which ironically goes hand in hand with the first question — ‘Whose motives do their words favor or represent?’
Think of propaganda as a game of “He Said, She Said.”
In keeping with the propaganda theme, Russian TV host and noted propagandist Vladimir Solovyov said that we are “already in” World War III on Russian state TV channel Russia-1 recently.
“Military plants and warehouses throughout NATO [North Atlantic Treaty Organization] should be blown up if they produce and house equipment designed to strike Russia,” Solovyov said translated from Russian. “You want World War III? You are already in it!”

While that might be a wild claim to some, Russia — and this isn’t in defense of them — has been consistent in their throughout the current conflict that should Ukraine used weapons against Russia supplied by NATO, especially by countries like the U.S., they could consider that an act of aggression on a macro level, not just carried out by Ukrainians.

As we know, President Joe Biden’s regime — along with some European NATO member nations — have already heavily supplied Ukraine with armaments to use in the conflict with Russia.
According to Newsweek:
Kremlin propagandists have routinely warned of a looming world war. Ties between Washington and Moscow have become increasingly strained over Putin's decision to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Russian officials and guests on state TV regularly call for strikes on U.S. soil and the West over aid and weapons provided by the Joe Biden administration and other NATO members to Kyiv. Newsweek has emailed NATO representatives for comment on Solovyov's words.
There are some that don’t believe we are headed for World War III, while others almost seem as if they’re actively looking for a global conflict. But, Solovyov’s claim comes just a couple of weeks after reports surfaced that “A new plan from [U.S.] House lawmakers would automatically register men for a potential military draft when they hit age 18, avoiding legal consequences connected to failing to file the paperwork at the proper time,” as reported by Military Times.
Essentially what they’re saying is, ‘Don’t worry about going to jail or being fined for not registering for Selective Service in a timely fashion. We’re just automatically going to do it for you without your consent.’
The prospect of war doesn’t seem to be drumming up the sense of duty to country that it once did, since no one has attacked the U.S. militarily this time around as they did when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, prompting the U.S. entry into World War II.
But, is a propagandist like Solovyov to be believed with his proclamation? Is there still a level of trust in our own government to give the straight skinny when it comes to a possible global conflict? These are questions we’re going to have to face and possibly answer sooner rather than later.
