Remember when it was “time to make the donuts?” Now, donuts isn’t even a part of the most famous donut chain’s name anymore. The ad people — and possibly the brass — at “Dunkin,’” formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts, apparently don’t like conservatives too much.
Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski posted on X Wednesday that Dunkin’ wanted the platform to “drop [Steven Crowder] and get away from ‘right wing culture” in order to get ad dollars from them.”
Pavlovski’s response was nothing short of perfect.
“My response: No, we don’t discriminate. All cultures are welcome on Rumble,” Pavlovski said in the X post.
Pavlovski brought receipts, too.
In a subsequent post, he shared redacted emails in which both Dunkin’ and Diageo North America, a major alcohol distributor, called on Rumble to distant themselves from right-leaning thinkers and commentators.
Diageo even went so far as to tell Rumble that they don’t even want to be contacted “unless the nature of the content on your platform undergoes a dramatic shift.”
“…there is no scenario where we approve a platform that has Steven Crowder, Alex Jones, or the like,” the Diageo email read. “The content on your platform is non-compliant pretty much across every category we try to avoid.”
Of course, the Diageo representative, whose name was properly redacted, did put their pronouns underneath their name, so that says pretty much everything you needed to know.
As for Dunkin’, their email stated that “the right wing culture of the site is too polarizing from a brand suitability standpoint today and that they “would be opposed to showing up on the current version of the platform.”

Well, maybe those of us who might like some of those who are open to listening to all points of view, INCLUDING “right wing culture,” will be opposed to giving you anymore of our money.
Maybe places like “Dunkin’” should go back to what originally worked for them, particularly in their advertising…charm. Oh, that and maybe a little more focus on the items that anyone knows you for, coffee and donuts. Leave the political ideology to people more qualified to comment on it.
As comedian Denis Leary once said, “When I was a kid, Dunkin' Donuts had two things: coffee and donuts, and that was it! You took the donut, dunked it in the coffee, thus the f**king title of the place!”
