I feel pretty safe calling Michael Cohen, former attorney to former President Donald Trump and the prosecution’s star witness in the trial against his old boss, an expert at lying. After all, he is a convicted perjurer who admitted during Trump’s trial that he stole tens of thousands of dollars from him.
So it’s particularly rich to see Cohen self-righteously, and without any self-awareness, chime in on X concerning the verdict in said Trump trial.
This is ACTUALLY what Cohen wrote:
“Today is an important day for accountability and the rule of law. While it has been a difficult journey for me and my family, the truth always matters. I want to thank my attorneys @eDanyaPerry for her invaluable guidance and support throughout this process.”

Seriously, bro? You really expect…well, anyone to believe that you believe “the truth always matters?”
If ever there was an appropriate application of one of President Joe Biden’s infamous catchphrases, it’s here.
“Come on, man!”
