Can anyone think of two things that absolutely go together but nobody wanted or asked for? Well, it just happened.
On his Substack, former CNN host and generally all-around annoying person Jim Acosta had fellow ousted CNN host and self-unaware mental midget Don Lemon on his “podcast” where they had the gall to talk about integrity in journalism and news, actually believing that they’re both arbiters of telling the truth.
I’m not saying they’re liars, but I’m not not saying they’ve never “allegedly” lied either.
While admitting that “corporate media” is dead, the same corporate media that gave both of them a platform to bash those that do what they’re currently attempting to do, Lemon — without any irony — said that people “trust” him to tell them the truth?
“They [consumers] don’t care if you’re on the North Lawn or the South Lawn of the White House with pancake make-up on and all the lights and the shiny desks,” Lemon said. “They want people they like, they trust and they care about, and I think that’s figures like us.”
Really? Go on…
“People can trust that I’m going to tell them the truth,” Lemon said unironically. “I’m not just going to bombard them with frivolous stuff. I’m not going to have false equivalency on my show. I’m just not going to do it, and I think people like that.”

Excuse me for one moment…
As a habitual podcast listener, people absolutely do want what Lemon said about those listening or watching a podcast for information — they just don’t believe either of these two clowns would ever give that to them.
People like Lemon and Acosta don’t live in reality. The FACT that they apparently feel like they and what they were reporting weren’t the reasons they no longer have those “corporate” jobs, which I guarantee they would go back to in a heartbeat given the chance, just shows how incredibly out-of-touch they are with audiences in the podcast world.
