For a quitter that voluntarily left the spotlight, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R?-Ill.) certainly like to shine it on himself by posting what he thinks are “hot takes,” when in reality, they just make him look like an a*****e.

Forget whatever you think about former president and current GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump. This isn’t about him, even though Kinzinger is obsessed with him. No, this is about Kinzinger believing he is the arbiter of which people are truly or not followers of the Christian faith.

In a Tuesday post to X, Kinzinger not only took shots at Trump in response to Trump's inflammatory Christmas post to Truth Social — which is more than fair and within his right to do so — but he decided to denigrate any supporters of Trump who identify as Christian.

“If you are a Christian who supports [Trump] you don’t understand your own religion,” Kinzinger wrote. “Trump is weak, meager, smelly, victim-ey, belly-achey, but he ain’t Christian and he’s not ‘God’s man.’”

Again, it doesn’t matter what you think of Trump. Take Trump out of the equation.

Where does Kinzinger get off questioning the faith of large portion of people he doesn’t know based on absolutely zero evidence besides the delusions in his own head?

When did Kinzinger become the arbiter of Christianity? Who ordained him to decide who does or doesn’t understand their own religion, therefore judging them as lesser than among their faith?

Post-quitting, Kinzinger seems deadset on creating this persona of himself of being a small-minded, spiteful little man who believes in nothing other than his own word vomit.

As many Christians “understand,” you’re supposed to “turn the other cheek.” But, Kinzinger knows nothing other than hatred for those that don’t think and act exactly as he would.

I, on the other hand, will not “turn the other cheek” when it comes to bullies like Kinzinger who thinks he the judge, jury and executioner or who is or isn’t moral or virtuous.

As said in the modern classic “A Knight’s Tale,” “You have been weighed, you have been measured and you absolutely have been found wanting.”
