I’ve been especially disgusted with government lately — and pretty much always — because of their indifference towards the people that gave them everything…the American taxpayer. And now, with this story, it just reinforces my hatred and general repulsion towards these parasites feeding off the rest of us to satiate their own motives.

Get this. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas actually said that “we do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds” to make it through the hurricane season in terms of aid for those affected.

Here’s what he said, according to the New York Post:

“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,” Mayorkas said during a press gaggle on Air Force One en route to tour damage from Hurricane Helene in South and North Carolina.

“We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” he added. “We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season and what — what is imminent.”

So we have enough money to protect the borders of countries on the other side of the world. We have enough money to give away to the criminal invaders that have come across our border illegally. But, we don’t have enough money to help Americans in the wake of a natural disaster?

You bastards. And I mean that with all sincerity when I call them that.

The Post pointed out that between 2023 and 2024 DHS “allocated” a combined $1,420,900,000 “to aid state and local governments coping with the influx of asylum seekers.”

I’m not even going to get into the numbers in terms of what we’ve sent to other countries to protect their sovereignty, but just know it’s enough to make you spit.

“We do not have the funds.”

Isn’t the first priority of any government supposed to go to its citizens? Well, then what do you call it when that government prioritizes everybody but its citizens? I’m not saying that’s treasonous, but I’m not not saying it either.

And the kicker of it all?

Also from the New York Post:

A relatively paltry $4 million has been paid directly to families and individuals in the week since Hurricane Helene ravaged the Southeast, killing at least 202 people and causing severe flooding damage from Florida to North Carolina, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Thursday.

“$4 million.” Four million dollars compared over $1.4 billion for people that don’t even belong in this country. Even if you take the number for this year alone, $640.9 million, that means that Americans in need after the disaster have only seen 0.6 percent in aid compared to what the criminal invaders have seen this year.

Less than one percent. Let that sink in.
