People have no patience and really don’t understand how to interpret the things that others say. Case in point was recently when people got all upset over Kyle Rittenhouse saying he would support Ron Paul in the 2024 election, when just a day later he changed his mind after talking to representatives for former President Donald Trump.

Another example is how everyone jumped the gun on podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan when he spoke positively about independent candidate for president, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

A lot of people concluded that Rogan was endorsing RFK Jr. even though Rogan never said the word “endorse” or “vote” when commenting on what he likes about the man.

Even RFK Jr.’s people posted the Rogan comments to @TeamKennedy24’s YouTube channel.

Rogan reposted the clip of his comments on X and clarified that “this isn’t an endorsement.”

“This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence,” Rogan wrote. “I think we could use more that in this world. I also think Trump raising his fist and saying “fight!” after getting shot is one of the most American f**king things of all time.”

“I’m not the guy to get political information from,” Rogan continued.

People put way too much stock in what celebrities and notable people think when they should concentrate on what they themselves think based on prudent information.

Yet another example was when podcaster and commentator Tim Pool, to prove a point, simply posted on X Friday, “Ok I’m voting for RFK Jr now.”

If you’re a frequent viewer, listener of follower of Pool’s work, you’d know that the guy has repeatedly said he’s voting for Trump and that he sometimes posts things on social media just to see what the response would be.

This was the case again, as RFK Jr. reposted Pool’s X post and said he was “grateful to you, Tim, for your confidence in me.”

Pool reposted RFK Jr.’s words and said that while he thinks RFK Jr. is “a good dude,” he does “intend to vote Trump.”

The point is that it doesn’t matter who anyone is voting for. That’s their business. And yes, while “their business” is posted to social media, it shouldn’t upset people to the degree it does simply for differing from whomever they might be voting for.
